MRWA: Williams River Bridges Replacements

Based in regional Western Australia, this project involved the construction of two new replacement road bridges over the River Williams for Main Roads WA.

With formed abutments, wingwalls and piers (including headstocks), constructed from piled foundations, the bridge deck comprised a concrete topping slab on precast girder beams.

Additionally, a new weir was constructed along with insitu connecting approach slabs, dual use paths, bridge lighting and traffic barriers.
