DCL is highly competent construction of complex, water-retaining structures. Our extensive experience with concrete structures is illustrated in our successful completion of several high-profile projects, including the Ellenbrook water tank, Merridan water tank, and Dedari water tank, all in collaboration with Water Corporation. These projects highlight our expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality, durable infrastructure.
The Ellenbrook water tank, with a capacity of 80 million litres, was designed and constructed to support the growing needs of the Ellenbrook suburb and the northeast metropolitan corridor. This project involved intricate in-situ concrete construction, including post-tensioned ring beam foundations, 12-meter-high in-situ stitch wall panel infills, and various internal concrete plinths and columns. Our meticulous attention to detail and adherence to stringent quality standards ensured the successful completion of this critical infrastructure.
Similarly, the Merridan and Dedari water tanks, with capacities of 42 million litres and 32 million litres respectively, were constructed to improve water quality and supply security for regional communities along the historic Golden Pipeline. These projects involved the use of over 2000 cubic meters of concrete and included in-situ concrete construction, post-tensioning, precast installation, and waterproofing. Our ability to manage and execute such complex projects demonstrates our extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of water-retaining structures.
