Golden Group, the investor for the Transit-oriented Development, has undertaken a project consisting of high-density residential, retail, hospitality, and commercial land uses. This development is strategically located on the banks of the Swan River, adjacent to Perth’s new Optus Stadium and Crown Perth resort in East Perth.

The project involved numerous interfaces with key stakeholders, including Perth Racing, Main Roads WA, the City of Victoria Park, utility service providers, the Department of Water and Environment, as well as local residents and business owners.

Civcon was awarded the contract for the first stage of this development, which encompasses the creation of six super lots. This stage includes civil works, services, foreshore development, bridge construction, and landscaping.

DCL were contracted by Civcon Civil & Project Management for the construction of the new bridge structure which would facilitate 4 lanes of traffic once opened. This bridge will function as a link form the existing bridge crossing over the Graham Farmer Freeway and will serve as the future access for traffic and pedestrians accessing the new development planned for the Belmont Racetrack area.
